Template file installation

  1. Click on chosen file
  2. Save it in any location
  3. Unpack it - get free application 7-zip
  4. After unpacking, change its name to rmg.txt (if is different)
  5. Copy it to Data directory in game directory (for example: c:/Games/Heroes 3/Data)

Common causes of errors

  1. Remember, by default Windows hides file extensions for known file ! If you do not uncheck the option Hide extensions for known file which you will find in Start → Control Panel → Folder options → View tab, when you change the file name to rmg.txt you change it to rmg.txt.txt, what is wrong.
  2. Remember, that the path shown in the example above (c:/Games/Heroes 3/Data) is an example! Check yourself where you installed your game Heroes 3.

which saves exactly you mean? if last saves of my game and Pentacz it is heroesWT version so it can be run with normal heroes version (SoD,Comlpete)
